I joined AmeriCorps NCCC in 1999 as a part of Class VII. It was a life changing experience and I consider it the best year of my life. My team of 11 has stayed close over these 21 years, attending each other’s weddings, and getting together as we could. Next weekend, 10 of the 11 members of our team, along with spouses and children, are gathering in Idaho for a reunion. I’m so grateful for my time with AmeriCorps and I hope and pray my kids will be able to do it too!
