Daniel Kim

Daniel Kim has served as AmeriCorps Budget Director since 2023. He oversees the development, execution, and management of the agency's budget and ensures its alignment with strategic goals, legislative requirements, and fiscal policies.

Prior to joining AmeriCorps, Kim served as the budget officer for the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. He began his federal career at the Department of Justice in the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys and moved to the civil division to work on the department's congressional budgets. He went on to work for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, where he worked on the resource efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kim is a University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business graduate.
