Acting Director, Grant Administration

Amy Hetrick currently serves as the Acting Director of the Office of Grant Administration. Her dedication to national and community service began when she served as an AmeriCorps member through the Louisiana Delta Service Corps from 1996 to 1998.  

Hetrick joined the AmeriCorps staff as an AmeriCorps State and National program officer in 2006. She served as a senior program officer and then director of the Office of Grants Policy and Operations. In 2020, she co-launched the Office of Grant Administration as the deputy director. 

Hetrick is committed to advancing the AmeriCorps mission by safeguarding federal resources through compliant grantmaking, issuing financial assistance awards, and providing grants management guidance and training to staff and external stakeholders.

In her personal time, she is a court-appointed special advocate for youth in foster care. Additionally, she is an oyster gardener endeavoring to improve the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem.
