The Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood's Incredible Years parent program focuses on parenting skills and  parent-child relationships. The program was adapted specifically for Hmong and African American families by recruiting Hmong and African Americans facilitators and adapting the languate used for program delivery. The study sought to see if the program delivered positive results for parents and if it was implemented according to the Incredible Years curriculum. Researchers looked at differences in scores of two tests, adminstered to parents before and after the program. To determine if the program was conducted as designed, evaluators conducted interviews and surveyed staff and participants.

No significant differences were found in parent test results for the Hmong program and the sample size for the African American  program was too small to calculate effect.
