Anna Hartge

Anna Hartge was appointed by the Biden-Harris administration as AmeriCorps’ senior advisor for strategic partnerships in July 2024.

Prior to joining AmeriCorps, Hartge most recently served as the Chief of Staff for Communications and Outreach at the US Department of Education and also worked on the School Reopening and Recovery team in the Office of the Secretary of Education.

Hartge also has experience in higher education administration, where she worked as a career counselor at The George Washington University in both the main Career Services Office and in Disability Support Services. She began her career in public service with President Obama's Administration where she worked in the Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Social Studies for Secondary Education from Hope College and a Masters in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University.
